Over the years Unidata has built up an extensive fiber-optic network in the city and province of Rome, a network that is now expanding in the rest of the Latium region. The network was created by installing high-density optical cables owned by Unidata, which provides available fiber optics to telecommunication operators in Wholesale mode.
The transfer method is known as IRU (Indefeasible Rights of Use), a typical way of transferring network resources among Operators, consisting of the exclusive use for a period of time of a pair of optical fibers connected from one point to another point without devices (naked fibers).
The IRU sale of optical fibers is particularly interesting as an additional Colocation service in the Unidata Data Center; thanks to this combination Data Center devices are connected at a very high speed and low latency, managed directly by Operators.
Terms of transfer:
5 - 10 - 15 years with single advance payment and annual maintenance
with monthly payment for 1 - 5 years, including maintenance
